In an effort to pitch the idea of premium cocktail kits to mixer brand, FeverTree, Gallo reached out to design custom packaging. Collaborating with designers, I helped spearhead the concepting behind each packaging option and developed copy that brought the story of the cocktail to life.
CONCEPT ONE: MIX & SIP
When it comes to at-home cocktails, it feels like a whole lot of been-there, done-that. It’s time to put some “happy” back into happy hour by shaking up the routine with a fresh set of recipes. Highlighting the vibrant mixers and flavorful cocktail possibilities, this series makes mixology more approachable and fun for consumers.
CONCEPT TWO: ARTISTRY COLLECTION
Many enjoy the fruit of mixology’s labor, but less have explored the artistry behind it — until now. Pairing the premium range of Fever-Tree mixers with the world class spirits of Gallo, our cocktail kit will become the latest blank canvas for the always-curious artist, and an invitation into the world of mixology for all cocktail-lovers.
CONCEPT THREE: SPIRITED GUIDE TO COCKTAIL MIXING
The ritual of mixing a cocktail for your guests is a long-standing and coveted one. While the tradition has relaxed from decanters on bar carts to whipping up something quick from the fridge, Fever-Tree’s superior mixers help bring back the elegance. This option takes a page from earlier decades and evokes a sense of sophistication around both Gallo brands and Fever-Tree as a whole.
CONCEPT FOUR: CRAFT COCKTAIL COLLECTION
Things seem to have more meaning when they’re done by hand. That’s why the craft industry continues to grow: behind each small batch product is an artisan who cares. We’ll help our consumers feel like the craftsman in their group by providing them the tools to mix up perfectly paired ingredients for a distinctive and enticing cocktail.
